Just a short update on what I’m up to right now.
The desk is a mess as usual but it’s got a new cutting mat and a new location. I moved into an apartment in an old mansion from 1777. Out of town and into a small village. Safe to say the new outside view from my desk is gorgeous.

I haven’t had much time to write but I am working on a longer post about kitbashing and my thoughts around it.
Hoping to publish soonish and that someone might find it interesting. I’m always fascinated myself by what goes into the process.
The reason for the coming post is I finally got around to a project I have been thinking of for at least a couple of years now (though probably longer). I have been kitbashing a host of carnival inspired cultists to serve as deamonettes for my Slaanehs army.
I have collected reference pictures and bits for a long time but never quite got going with it. This summer it finally happened and in quite a short amount of time I built around 50 deamonettes and a whole bunch of other kitbashes.
I also started to convert my Lumineth horse riders into something that will serve as deamonettes on steeds of Slaanesh. Once I finish up the riders. I kind of ran out of arms for bashing so I need to collect more bits.
I might make a post on the full army sometime. Tell me if it’s something you would like to see!
So far I fully painted one of the deamonettes. And then I left the rest just sitting on my desk abandoned. I instead switched focus onto working on some new watercolour paintings.
I have spent quite a lot of time on painting lately and I still have a whole bunch of sketches, drawings and ready to go paintings left to finish. The plan is to keep working on them while I’m still in the right headspace and do some miniature painting on the side. Usually I tend to focus solely on one hobby but I would like to be a bit more flexible and mix up my hobby time more. We’ll see how that goes.
